The MC600 is a fast, compact industrial robot with a payload of 600 kg, and a reach of 2890 mm. For production safety, an RMU (Robot monitoring unit) is always included. The unit has functions such as operating range monitoring, angle monitoring, speed monitoring and stop monitoring. These can all be set from and communicated by the robot controller. The standard communication protocol is ProfiNet, but Ethernet/IP or EtherCat can be used alternatively. The MC600 uses the Nachi FD20 controller.
